Yerba Kraus Organica Pure Leaf is a mate tea without stems (Sin Palo) and with a small amount of ground leaves (polvo). This means it can be prepared like a conventional tea and is therefore perfect for beginners and new mate tea lovers.
The Kraus company was founded over 100 years ago and works under organic conditions. The drying process used is unusual for yerba mate: indirect heat is employed. A fire heats the air, which is then blown onto the leaves. This indirect drying method ensures the leaves do not acquire a smoky flavor, known in Spanish as “sin humo” (without smoke).
