“Peperoncini farciti con tonno” are mild chilli peppers stuffed with tuna, anchovies, olives, capers and herbs and pickled in virgin olive oil. This unique speciality is suitable as an appetiser, to garnish cold dishes or as an aperitif.
In the hinterland of Imperia, in the village of Oneglia, you will find the Frantoio di Sant’Agata. For three generations, the Mela family has been cultivating their olive slopes and running the frantoio. Besides the production of olive oil, they have specialized in the preparation of culinary delicacies. The delicacies are made of high quality ingredients, still prepared by hand and according to ancient tradition. They do not contain preservatives nor are they pasteurized.
