This organic olive oil is obtained from different varieties of organically grown olives (Moraiolo, Leccino and Frantoio), harvested from the beginning of November and pressed immediately. The result is an oil with a delicate fragrance and a taste with sweet sensations and slightly tangy notes. Wonderful over vegetables, red meat, bruschette, potatoes, pasta, risottos and in soups.
The olive groves of Alfonso Priorelli, which are already run by the 4th generation, are located in one of the most characteristic areas of Umbria, between the hills that connect Assisi, Gubbio and Perugia. The brothers Massimo and Paolo Pencelli have invested new resources in olive cultivation to produce high quality oils in harmony with nature. Podere Castagna Alta has been a certified organic farm since 1997.
