This top olive oil from green Argudell olives is complex, full-bodied and strong in flavour with accents of artichokes, tomatoes and tree nuts paired with a balanced spiciness and bitterness. The green-fruity oil is ideal for bruschetta, vegetables, over grilled meat or fish, with seasoned cheeses, but also with pasta and rice dishes. Try it also with fine desserts such as ice cream, sorbets, chocolate mousse and strawberries.
This olive oil does not mask the flavours of the dishes and is suitable for cold and hot cuisine.
The Fontclara estate is located in the province of Girona in Catalonia. Here, the green olives are picked by hand, sorted and immediately cold extracted in the modern Mori-Tem plant to preserve the wonderful aromas. Roland Zanotelli’s team produces the highest quality. On 60 hectares of land they cultivate more than 10’000 olive trees, some of which Argudell trees are more than 100 years old. The 2022/2023 olive oil has already won several gold and silver awards.
