On the border with Florence lies the picturesque town of Fiesole. Here Giovanni Donnini produces with meticulous precision the high-quality olive oil Essentia from the olive varieties Frantoio, Moraiolo and Leccino. Care, pruning, timely harvesting and professional pressing on the same day are a matter of course for him. The nose initially reveals green notes, followed by a hint of artichoke. On the palate, aromas of green almonds, artichoke and sage dominate. The finish is characterised by a long-lasting note of black pepper.
Wonderful over vegetables, in soups, red meat, bruschette, potatoes, pasta and risottos.
