The Guranse garden is located in the Dhankuta Hills in eastern Nepal. With an altitude of up to 2,400 metres, this garden is one of the highest in the world with excellent climate and soil conditions – the result: fantastic organic quality. “Guranse” is the Nepalese word for rhododendron, the national flower of Nepal – and floral aromas are also found in this tea.
The purchased batch has a well-fermented, medium-length leaf with light leaf tips. The cup presents a fragrant, aromatic infusion. A fine tannic acid perfectly underlines its full flavour.
