Chocolate made from cocoa grown by indigenous farmers in the jungle of the autonomous region of Ngöbe-Buglé in northern Panama. The cocoa trees grow in a varied agroforestry system among laurel, peach and banana trees, which give the cocoa a unique flavour. With the almond croquant filling, this chocolate is simply delicious.
Millésime Chocolat is a Belgian manufacturer of organic chocolate bean to bar. The founder, Jean-Christophe Hubert, focuses on the processing of raw cacao beans, from roasting to the production of the final products, respecting manufacturing processes of the past.
As with wine, Millésime only processes beans from exceptional plantations and soils to highlight their characteristics. They do not mix harvests, regions or vintages, and all their production is certified organic. This results in wonderful chocolates full of character, but only in limited quantities.
