Since 1882, this sea salt speciality has been produced in Maldon Bay on the English south coast in the 4th generation. Pyramid-shaped salt crystals are formed by the complex drying process. Fine-aromatic taste with a crunchy consistency.
Maldon smoked salt is unique. The salt crystals are cold smoked, which contributes to an exciting finish salt for use at the table. The smoked salt enhances the inherent flavour of meat, fish and poultry and adds that special touch to food. It also goes great with shellfish, but also completes sauces and soups, as well as marinades.
