Originating from the volcanic island of Jeju, this unique tea is a delicacy produced using a method similar to that of black tea.
Shortly before the drying process is complete, an additional fermentation step is introduced, giving the tea an aroma reminiscent of Pu-Erh – intense and rich. The loosely processed leaves in warm copper and brown tones yield an infusion of deep brown-red color. In flavor, the tea reveals an aromatic, sweet, and fruity profile.
