This organic cocoa comes from the Toledo region in the south of Belize. This bar proves that dark chocolates can also be combined very well with fruits. An interplay of fruity, subtly acidic notes of raspberry with the full aroma of Belize chocolate.
Since autumn 2018, the South Tyrolean manufactory Karuna has been producing wonderful chocolates. Katja and Armin, the founders, give high priority to ethically traded and organically grown fine flavoured cocoa. For sweetening they use Fairtrade raw cane sugar from Brazil. The organic cocoa butter is pressed from Nacional Arriba cocoa from the area around Los Rios and Esmeraldas in Equador. The almonds and fruits used are also organically produced. Newly, the packaging is also completely organic.
