Less spicy than black pepper and with its unique flavor, Red Kampot Pepper is one of our favorites. Mildly spicy, it offers fruity and tobacco notes as well as sweet hints of dates and honey.
The production of red Kampot pepper requires a lot of manual labor, as the red peppercorns must be individually selected. The Kampot region is one of the few places in the world that produces these exquisite red peppercorns. The ripe peppercorns are sun-dried, which enhances their distinctive flavor.
Excellent with fish (such as red mullet), fruit salad, pears, strawberries, chocolate, in pastries, or jams.
