Hartlieb’s “Kürbiskernöl” is a natural oil from the first pressing of Styrian pumpkin seeds. It has a deep green to reddish brown colour and a very distinctive, typically nutty aroma with a mild roasted note of fresh bread crust and caramel. Excellent for seasoning pumpkin soups or vegetables. In combination with apple or wine vinegar, pumpkin seed oil is suitable for marinating all kinds of salads (lettuce, bean, potato, cheese, sausage or meat salads).
