Belize cacao is one of the very few and rare heirloom (uncrossed pedigree) cacao varieties. A true heirloom of the cacao grown in Belize centuries ago. The state of Belize is in Central America and is located in the southeast of the Yucatán Peninsula.
This 100% chocolate is tart yet mild in flavor, very aromatic, spicy-nutty, with a fruity, slightly smoky finish and notes of grains and grapes.
