The cocoa beans for this single-origin chocolate come from the Semuliki Cooperative Unio around the village of Mataisa in Uganda. The special preparation already in the country of origin, where the cocoa beans are fermented for seven days in large wooden boxes and then dried, gives the chocolate its unique taste.
