Coffee flowers (Kaffeeblüten), Thailand 30g

From the mountainous region of Mae Salong we obtain this absolute rarity from the coffee cooperative Doi Chang. Doi Chang produces without any pesticides or chemical fertilizers. In meticulous manual work, the fragrant blossoms of approximately 500 coffee bushes must be harvested for one kilogram of dried blossoms. These are then gently dried outdoors. Their taste is flowery, very aromatic with a soft character and pleasant honey notes.
Steep 1-2 teaspoons for about 5 minutes (can be infused several times). The caffeine content is significantly lower than in coffee or tea.
