The very well-known jalapeno chilli owes its name to the town of Jalapa in Veracruz. Primarily used in Mexican cuisine, the warm and full aroma with medium heat also goes well with cheese, in stews, bean and meat dishes, in BBQ sauces or in homemade wraps.
