Herbal tea
Since time immemorial, mankind has known the beneficial effects of herbal tea. Rich in vitamins and minerals, herbal teas are not only healthy, but also extremely aromatic. Whether made from single-origin herbs such as peppermint or orange blossom, or as a perfectly balanced blend, we offer a wide selection of domestic and exotic herbal teas that you can enjoy hot or cold. From organic cultivation, available as teabags or loose-leaf tea.
What is herbal tea?
Although colloquially labeled as tea, herbal teas are not made from the tea plant (Camellia sinensis), but from various plant parts (leaves, flowers, fruits, seeds, stems, bark, roots) of diverse plants. Therefore, as a rule, they do not contain caffeine.
Preparation of herbal tea
For loose-leaf herbal teas, one teaspoon of herbs per cup is enough.
Pour bubbling boiling water over the herbs and let the infusion steep for 5-10 minutes. You can strain the tea through a strainer or use tea filter bags, our stainless-steel tea strainer or cotton tea nets.
