Due to the traditional production method without cocoa butter, this bar has a crispy texture. The chocolate is characterised by a wonderful freshness and a delicate fruity acidity, with spicy and woody notes.
The noble white cocoa “Gran Blanco” is cultivated in the Alto Piura valley in the northwest of Peru. The cocoa beans used by Orfève come from a cooperative of small producers who adhere to the strictest rules of sustainable development.
Orfève was founded by François-Xavier Mousin and Caroline Buechler in Geneva in autumn 2017. With a lot of passion and skill, they produce excellent single origin chocolates, in which the origin and the cocoa variety are perfectly emphasised in the bar.
