The natural cacao for this dark single-origin chocolate comes from a single, family-owned cacao farm on Phuket. Processed in their own manufactory in the old town of Phuket, this bar delights with its delicate melt and a fruity profile, featuring notes of honey, citrus, and exotic fruits like pineapple. The exceptional flavor experience of this Paradai chocolate earned it a silver medal at the 2023 International Chocolate Awards World Final.
Paradai, founded in 2016 by friends Phurich and Warit, means “friendship” in Thai. The cacao is sourced directly from smallholder farmers, without intermediaries – ensuring that the entire value chain remains in the country of origin. Paradai’s passion lies in giving their Bean-to-Bar chocolate a distinct and unique signature. Through careful and individual fermentation of the raw beans, the aromatic profiles of the different cacao varieties are optimized to unlock their full potential.
