Japan green tea, Guricha organic 100g pouch

This organically produced Guricha (ぐり茶, Guri = curly, crinkly) comes from Miyazaki Prefecture, on the southern island of Japan. The tea leaf is more reminiscent of Chinese teas in that it is not needle-shaped like Sencha, but rather the tea leaves are left in their original comma-shaped form. For the production of this rarity the variety Yabukita is used.
The infusion delights with its fresh grassy note, is dense with incredible freshness.
