Made from green Arbequina olives, this top-quality olive oil is smoother, milder and creamier in flavour than Argudell olive oil. The great aroma with fruity scents of olives, apples, bananas and almonds goes well with light dishes with restrained flavours such as vegetable carpaccio, lentil salad, freshwater fish, poultry, veal, marinades and soft and mild cheeses. This olive oil does not mask the flavours of the dishes and is suitable for cold and hot cuisine.
The Fontclara estate is located in the province of Girona in Catalonia. Here, the green olives are picked by hand, sorted and immediately cold extracted in the modern Mori-Tem plant to preserve the wonderful aromas. Roland Zanotelli’s team produces the highest quality. On 60 hectares of land they cultivate more than 10’000 olive trees, some of which Argudell trees are more than 100 years old. The 2022/2023 olive oil has already won several gold and silver awards.
