The cocoa beans come from the topical forests of Dong Nai Province, northeast of Saigon. Here, it is Marou himself who ferments and dries the beans. So the producer goes one step further back: not bean-to-bar but pod-to-bar!
The Marou chocolate manufactory is one of the first companies in Asia to produce chocolate bean to bar in the country of origin. What started as a dream of two friends has developed into a brand of pure dark chocolate made exclusively from the best ingredients in Vietnam.
